Phil and I came up here at the end of our summer for two nights. It was just what we needed after a long summer of fishing and working. Sherol was beyond welcoming, giving us dinner and cleaned our clothes. The bed has been the most comfortable bed we have slept in. We enjoyed a nice breakfast of french toast and later went for a beautiful canoe ride to the island on the lake. Thanks for the wonderful two days. Our Alaska trip wouldn’t have been the same without the Silver Fin Lakefront Bed and Breakfast.

Our stay here at the Silver Fin has been very enjoyable. We were in town for a wedding and the Silver Fin was a real convenience for us. We are very thankful for our hosts, Sherol, Phil and Dave and the thoughtful things they have done for us to make our stay special. We would certainly recommend your lovely little cabin to others who might be blessed to spend time on this beautiful lake.

The Silver Fin Bed and Breakfast superseded our expectations. The location on the shores of Aleknagik Lake was beautiful. Sherol and her family, in all their hospitality, local knowledge, and kindness helped us to feel right at home. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the activities incredible. Thank you for a wonderful late June Alaska summer vacation!

Silver Fin Lakefront Bed and Breakfast is a quaint, historic cannery cottage in a stunning location. Sherol and her family are very friendly and Sherol’s stories of growing up in the area were fantastic. The views are grand, the cottage is clean and cozy, and the company is great. We loved staying here and hope to visit again.

We stayed overnight at the Sliver Fin Lakefront Bed and Breakfast and had such an amazing time. The B&B is located right on the lake. You can see stunning views of Aleknagik from the windows of the cottage. The lake is a quick one-minute walk down a flight of stairs. Sherol and family have deep historical roots at this location dating back to the early 1900’s. I’ve traveled the world and I must say, Lake Aleknagik is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. I would stay at Silver Fin again for sure. Thanks to Sherol and her family for their hospitality. The cabin was very clean, very neat, great shower and excellent internet accesses. I had an amazing night of sleep in the most comfortable cotton sheets I’ve slept in. Thanks Mershons.

A short visit but a great one. The old (1930s) outboard motors in the shed are unbeatable. What a fun B&B!
